How do we recognise a spiritually aware person?
We must learn to see beyond the illusions that people present in order to ensnare you or to catch your attention.

If you listen carefully to your inner intuition this will guide you correctly but this is not so easy to do these days if a Guru or a Spiritual teacher has several thousand devotees who enthusiastically promote him or her.

A truly spiritual person will have moved beyond the requirement for devotees and will treat everyone they come into contact with as equals. We are all equal in the eyes of God and once a person is able to see the God energy in everyone he is with there is no longer a need to teach or to instruct, to have hierarchies or to be a leader. It is enough to just sit near a highly evolved Spiritual person and his energy alone will lift and enhance your own Higher Self awareness.

People who are living within the Joy of the Divine radiate this energy unceasingly, not just when they invite you to meditate with them but every moment of every day they are filled with an inner radiance.

A veneer of inner calm and peacefulness is not the same as this inner radiance and if you are lucky enough to spend time with a person in the Joy you will find it hard to recall much about them except the feeling that radiates from them. ​
